O-wool Balance is a 50/50 blend of organic merino and organic cotton, making for a yarn that has all the springiness of wool and the comfort of cotton, for enjoyable wearing through all the seasons. The cotton in the blend absorbs more dye than the merino giving a great tweedy effect. O-wool Balance is suitable for your existing DK patterns, or we have a small but lovely selection to choose from too. The natural yarn is only washed, and no chemicals are used in its production; the dyes for the coloured yarn meanwhile are compliant with GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standards) for low-impact and low water usage. Once you have finished your garment, remember to wash it in your favourite eco wool wash, soaking it for 15-20 minutes, as this will really bring the softness of the merino. Then wring in a towel and dry horizontally. |
